Can't change Apple ID

When I go to appleid.apple.com and edit my account I do not have an option change my Apple ID. Currently my Apple ID is associated with @icloud.com. I do have an alias @gmail.com account.

What can I do so that I have an option to change my Apple ID?

If I am not mistaken, your only option is to use the alias associated with your current ID.

Then make a Alisa email address you want and select that as your main address then it will work!
