iPod Can't change artist

I recently downloaded a large 2 disc album, and under the 'Artist' it says 'Various' for every song, and under 'Name' it shows the artist+song. I went into the info to put the actual artist name under 'Artist', but as soon as I click on the song to play it, it goes back to 'Various'.

Can anyone help me out with this?
