Hi All,

I accidentally deleted my iPhone's name in iTunes by clicking the iPhone name, then when it became editable, I pressed delete, and clicked on something else. The phones name is now empty, and when I try to normal method of changing the name (clicking the name twice slowly), nothing happens.

It is driving me absolutely crazy. Can anyone help please? :(

I haven't ran into anything like that, but what you could always do is to do a clean restore, and choose a name after the restore is complete.

i accidentally deleted my iphone name too in itunes....did you ever find out how to fix it?

Finally got it fixed

So, after pulling my hair out for a while, I finally figured it out.

We know you have to click on the iPhone's name in iTunes to change the name. But, if you have no name, you can't click on it, right?

I found that if you keep clicking and clicking where the name would be in iTunes, you will eventually click on the one magic pixel that will let you change it... So, keep clicking 'til you find it. :)

Just like when editing info on a song in iTunes without going into get info. If there's nothing there there's only a tiny area that works when you click it.
