Hi everyone. So, today i start to set up my new m1 mba, but during this process i cant enable TouchID, everytime it says "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID enrolment".

I try to google this issue, but all decisions describe steps for intel-macs, like reset SMC, and its not helped for m1.

Have someone else same issue? Also, i updated Big Sure to 11.3, but that's not helped.

I've set mine up a few times without any problem so this is a bit curious.
The only thing I'd suggest would be to power off the MBA completely and leave it off for at least 90 seconds.
This, on a M1 machine apparently does the same thing as resetting SMC and NVRAM.
At least that won't do any harm :)
Once you start it up again I'd try to set it up again.
If that still doesn't sort it out I'd contact Apple support and see what they say (though it's likely to be a re-install, at a guess).
