cant connect htc desire to my mbp

Im a new windows survivor. This is my first mac. I cant reach sd card content of my htc desire android phone when i connect it via usb. I removed sd card from phone then mounted it to my computer and it read but I need to access it with usb.

USB debugging is on. I checked finder , i clicked on finder sd icons but it cant reach.

I have not had an HTC but use Android File Transfer with my Galaxy S4 and MBP.
