Can't connect to service after downgrading (not unlocked!)

So i downgraded from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and when i got the 1015 error message, i used iNdependence to kick it out of DFU mode. However, now that I'm running 1.1.1, I have NO SERVICE. I am using AT&T and in NYC so theres no chance that I shouldn't be getting service, and the phone occaisionally gives me messages that say, "waiting for activation. this may take some time" what do i do!!!!!

Edit: It also lists my correct number on the phone (in the contacts) and on iTunes when i connect it.

do a restore.

if it still doesn't work call apple.

you still have warranty.
