I'm on a LAN here at school and am suddenly having trouble connecting to Windows machines. They show up in the Network directory but when I click on them it says that they weren't found. Now I KNOW they are there and I KNOW they have file sharing turned on, so what gives? I'm using 10.3.2 with all the latest updates.

I've had the same problems under Panther...

I can see the various PCs on my network, but can't dynamically connect to them through the Finder. As '7on' suggested, go to 'Go' and 'Connect to', and type in the following:

smb://computername/computershare

I was able to connect the Windows PCs this way.
