I need to D/L windows media player on my brand new MBP...how do i do this? thanks!

i think you can still download windows media player. i was a little confused the first few times i did it because it came out as a sitx file or something. you just need to google the program "stuffit" or something to unzip the file and itll work. um.. if its not stuffit google "opening .sitx file" or watever the extension is (sorry, bad memory)

you can download WMP, but why bother using it when you can use flip4mac and have QT play the .wmv files for you?

i may be wrong, but i think that MS stated they won't be updating WMP for mac, and thus you should use Flip4Mac, no?

flip4mac doesnt work on intel macs yet.

i d/l WMP9 and installed it and it works as a stand alone program but when i go to cnn.com and try to watch a video there the pop-up says i dont have WMP and gives a Plug-in Warning. any ideas on how to fix this? i think it has to do with a setting in safari or something...

There is a flip4mac for intel beta that is out
