Not really a mac question, but i hate ho. forums...

I decided to bite the bullet and get a bluetooth headset for my Moto. E815. I narrowed it down between 3

first is a Motorola H 700

The second is Plantronics Voyager 510
I like this one but i'm not sure of the size cause i think* i have small ears...

Last but not least is the Plantronics Discovery™ 640
I like the style... its different. but how well does it stay in your ear? Does it fall out when you move your head?

So which one do recommend? Is their any others? I don't want something that is a piece of junk.
Thanks,
puckhead

make sure you buy a shirt that says "I'm a jackass" while your at it.

I don't mean that as a personal insult, just everyone person I see with one of those headsets might as well be wearing said shirt

Don't be hating...

I have a motorola one...don't remember which model though, but its pretty nice. I haven't had any trouble with it and it has a really good range from the phone.

I heard the same thing a few years ago against people with cell phones, most of those people now own cellphones.

I stand by my statement, anyone who owns a cell phone is a tool, myself included. My friends get mad because I never carry it.

I saw a guy working at the Cingular store using that Plantronics Discovery 640 a while ago. It seemed like it stayed in fine. One of my co-workers has it also, and says it's really comfortable.

I use a Motorola H3. It looks awesome, and works great!

You should really check out the Plantronics Explorer 320. I just purchased one for my SLVR L6 and love it. It has almost twice the specs as the Voyager 510 (8 hours talk v. 6 hours and 240 stand-by v. 100). All-in-all I recomend the 320 above the 510 any day. Plus, you can get it for a measly $33 at Office Depot (just have them price match the OD website).

I know what you mean. Hopefully, you don't have to deal with the walkie-talkie/push to talk phones, too.

I mean, if you're having a private conversation, why should other people have to hear your details?

Anyway, is charging Bluetooth headsets a problem?

Not a problem at all. There are a few options for charging. As far as I know they all come with wall chargers and with the option of USB and car chargers. Typical full charge takes 2 hours.

I know you said you don't like Howard Forums in your original post, but remember that some of those people do know what they're talking about. ;)

You really don't have to like them to get good advice. Just search through some threads. :)
