Hi,
I'm working as a developer and I can't devices if I should go with one 27" 4k or two 25" 2k?
How would you go?

Today I'm running my 14" display + 24" 1080p display so either way it's a step up.
I kind of like two displays and that's why I'm might go for the two 25" 2k displays.'

For the 24" I was thinking;

Why not 32" 4K - can run 1:1 (100-120%) near without upscaling = more real screen estate. 27" 4k and 25" 2k you're going to have to upscale at 150% to read any text.

Whenever you upscale the UI, you lose more spaces to fit any app side by side.

You can test this yourself on your MPB14, Scaled mode under Display setting. Also, anything under 4K macOS won't use HiDPI mode.

Coding text on 2K screen is a blurry mess it not sharp as Windows cleartype, for macOS highly recommend 4K or higher resolution screen.

I did have a 4K 32” earlier but it was to big for me so I did sell it.

I maybe will look at 27” 4k then
