All apps that I have downloaded from the apps store will not simply drag and drop in the trash. Each time I have tried I get the following message:

"The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items."

I have tried repairing permissions via disk utility, resetting SMC and pram/nvram, still no luck. Interestingly, it seems as if I'm the only one in the world with this problem...

Add'l: i have no issues deleting on my MBP.

System: iMac 27 2.93 Intel Core i7, 4 GB ram, mac os x 10.6.6

Please help.

Update: I wiped my drive and restored from time machine, like a fool, and had the same issue... I hate to say it, but my down an dirty solution for my windows machines worked... Started over and only brought my personal files, pics, vids and mobile me setting back on to the computer. I can delete again and my computer seems faster. Now I have the urge to back my computer with a fresh install of osx and apps and use it as a quick reset button, in case this happens again...
