Can't Delete Certain files

My brother dragged some of his stuff from his harddrive onto my mac. When I tried to delete em, I get the "fdksfsd.smc" is locked. Now it's permanently on my computer. How do I delete this? I tried to cut the thing into my "Windows" partition and boot up windows to delete em (figger that it could work like that) but THERE ISN'T A WAY to CUT the folder!!

How do I get rid of these "locked" files? It's taking up 10gigs of my space!!

Can you right click (control click) on the particular file and unlock it? I can do this with some of my locked files. There is also a way to force a trash empty, I just forgot what particular key combinations to press.

If you're not afraid of unix, go to the terminal and use the rm command to delete the file. You can "man rm" to learn all about the command. Don't try this though unless you have some basic knowledge of unix commands and navigating via the terminal.

Oh, and macs can't write to NTFS drives if you're trying to move it to the Windows partition.

Open Terminal and type rm -rf then drag these files to the terminal widow and press return. Be carefull the files with be gone FOREVER!

Wow! That's cool... I didn't know you can drag files into a terminal window.
