I just imported some photos from my iPhone, and now I want to delete them.

In Photos, I did not see an option to delete photos after import. There's a "delete" option, but it's grayed out even if I select a photo on my iPhone

Tried using Image Capture, too. When I right-clicked a photo, the "Delete" option was greyed out.

I tried unlocking my phone and quitting both programs.

As always, your help is greatly appreciated.

Assuming that you've imported photos from your iPhone's Camera Roll, you need to open the Camera app, go into the Camera Roll and delete the photos from there.
