Can't delete notifications

Got a couple of calendar notifications that I can't delete,no x at the side,if i touch them they take me to the calendar.

Another calendar notification came through and the x appeared,when touched to clear it only removed the last one in,not the other two which refuse to go.

Turning calendar off then on results in them reappearing..

Any ideas how I can get rid of them?

There are two types of Cal notifications.

The ones you cannot dismiss are events for the next 24 hours.

Events with an actual alert set will send you a notification at that set alert time. Those can be cleared.

Yeah, this annoyance has been around since the earliest 5.0 betas. I really wish they'd make that optional. I don't need to see the reminder about my cat's impending "hygiene clip" 75 times in advance.

Ah ok,that would be the problem then,cheers for the help.

Seems strange I can't delete my own reminders though
