I am trying to free up some space on my iMac, and I found 200+ podcasts from 2009 and earlier. When I tried to use the "manage" function in the storage menu, I was not able to delete any of the episodes. I'd click on "delete" and then it asked me to confirm, and I clicked delete again, but nothing happened. Then I went into the podcast app, and I deleted all of the downloaded shows from there, but the storage number did not change. Did I not really delete them? When I click on "About this Mac" and "storage" and then "manage," podcasts are no longer showing up in the list of things on the left.

It sounds like you deleted them. In the Podcast app, did you delete 200+?
