I am trying to take the windows partition off of my computer. I run the boot camp utitity and it say it was uninstalled, and tells me to restart my computer. I do so, and the windows partition is still there. What am I doing wrong? Is there another way to delete the partition and make my hard drive one big partition again?

Two ideas:
1. Check out this link:

2. Backup your OS X partition to an external drive with Carbon Copy Cloner (it's free, just google it). Then format the drive with disk utility. After that, restore the image from the external drive to your computer.
