So basically i was trying to downgrade to ios 9.0.2 on an iphone 6s plus but when i shift right click "check for updates" or "Restore" it says "firmware not compatible" but im 100% sure this is the right firmware
since there is only one firmware for the iphone 6s plus please help

Still not working

Only other things to really suggest are basic stuff that you'd probably laugh at :p
- Did you update iTunes to the latest version?
- Did you restart computer?
- Are you sure it's a 6s plus?

Wish I had a better answer for ya. 9.0.2 is still being signed by Apple so it's definitely not that. I just restored to 9.0.2 yesterday on my 6s using my MacBook Air and didn't have the 'firmware not compatible" issue you are having.

Yea i tried everything i even tried to do it in dfu mode but still didnt work Thanks for the help anyway :D

iTunes won't restore a phone down, even if you use Option+Click and an IPSW you've downloaded. However, if you put the device into recovery or DFU, it'll probably let you use the IPSW.

Even DFU won't let you install a non-signed iOS version.
