Hi all, having some strange issues and hoping someone can possibly help. Im currently on iOS 12 (16A5327f).

Earlier today, I noticed that I had around 40 app updates banked up in App Store. When I went to update all apps, they started downloading but they all only progressed about 15% before freezing. Then I couldn’t stop or take any further action without performing a full reset.

I also noticed I hadn’t been notified or prompted about a new iOS beta for quite some time. Upon investigating, I found that the beta profile had somehow disappeared. I reinstalled it and restarted, but now when I check for updates I get an error mentioning “Unable to Check for Update”.

I’ve tried a network settings reset and everything short of a full restore. I’m hesitant to do a full factory restore as I’m overseas currently and I don’t have access to my iTunes library to restore my media.

Any advice or help would be appreciated!

I’m also constantly getting prompted to verify my Apple ID by entering the password in settings.

My advice... update to the newest beta..............

Thanks for the advice! I mentioned in my subject line and post that I can’t check for or download any iOS updates.

Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID>View Apple ID>Sign In>Payment Information>Enter CVV if you plan to use the same debit/credit card on file> Done

Try again to download apps. Most times when you can't download or purchase apps, you just need to re-verify your payment info.

Thanks! I can download new apps and updates for existing ones, but it’s *incredibly* slow to the point it seems like it’s frozen.
