Just started using iOS and I tried download an image through google images to use as wallpaper but there was no download function anywhere.

Is there any way I can download images off google images and set it as lockscreen and homescreen?
Should I use another browser-Opera and try downloading images with that? or is it an OS aspect that doesn't allow downloading from websites?

Atomic and iCab both allow it. I was disappointed they didn't add that function or the ability to copy image location (more important to me)

I save images with Safari all the time including Google Images. Tap and hold on the image until a menu box opens asking what you want to do. Select "Save image". In the Photos app it will be in the Saved Photos folder. From there you can choose from 7 things you can do with the photo, including wallpaper.
