I am having problems as well. When I installed 9.2 it did not install 1.6 of MobileMe Preferences (Windows). That caused a problem with the older 1.5 working with 9.2. I then downloaded (yesterday) the 1.6 version (using your link). After doing that I then say 2 icons running in the lower right side of my desktop (forgot that section name). So I decided to understall and put re-installed to see if that fix the 2 icon problem. Now I am unable to download again (same as you). Anyone else having the the duplicate icon problem?
I was able to download using Google Chrome but not IE. I think Safari would have worked. However, when trying setup Sync it was having a little problem. I delete the old computers and then re-registerd this computer. However, still have some problems with get my Outlook Data Reset on MobileMe (long story on that part).
Also, on see one icon now. So maybe that is fixed.
