Hi! This is my first post here.

Today when I started my mac, I found out that I was unable to drag and drop files. In the finder and in my apps.

Has anyone any clues?

My mac is: g4 dual 876. Running Jaguar 10.2.8
Apple optical mouse (not wireless)

Thanx!

That happened to me once...

My Pismo did that not too long ago (one of the final issues that led to me getting a new 15 inch PB). If I remember correctly, all I did was restart and the problem went away.

Boot from an OS X instal disk, and repair permissions. Once this is done, reboot. All should be fine.

To repair permissions, launch Disk Utility, select your hard drive and repair permissions. If you have 10.3 this works well. If you have 10.2 then I suggest you use a utility called Cocktail which can repair permissions.

Most likely the cause of the problem is bad permissions
