Have Desktop Connect and was able to connect to my desktop through GMail but it will no longer work. I have both the desktop and iPad logged in and the iPad sees the desktop on the left side but when I try to connect it will not. Sitting in front of desktop so I know it is not in sleep mode. I have not changed any settings so do not understand why it has stopped working.

I can connect using the manual IP but I can only see what is on the screen and have no control of it.

Wasted all afternoon with this and countless emails and replys from DC with no resolution. I guess this will be an App for the trash bin.

Anyone know of a Remote Desktop App that you can talk to some one over the phone for support?

Thinking I might try Jump Desktop.

Is the server on the computer you are trying to connect to running? Do you see a litter red circle with a gloved hand in it with a pointing finger, or do you see a black/blue gloved hand with a pointing finger on your server? If red, then the server is not running. You need to investigate why not.

Note DC icon in menu bar...

By the way, the other icons are for Caffein (does not let my Mac Mini sleep ever), and iBezz (which I set to do daily reboots) which I use to make sure my Mini is always awake and rebooted fresh daily just in case an app decides to hang or misbehave.
