Can't Email Myself Multiple Photos? (Gmail app)

My iPhone won't let me email myself more than one photo at a time from my camera roll using the Gmail app. The app immediately closes when I do so. Any thoughts??

Hmmm ... I just tried on my iPhone 11 and the Gmail app froze up just trying to add one picture to an email.

So it's not just you.
