I am finding that I am no longer able to email a photo directly from my Photos app on my iPhone X. A few months ago I switched my internet service from Verizon to Comcast (XFinity). I kept my main email with its verizon.net address instead of switching totally to comcast.net for email. That works perfectly fine on all my other devices (MacBook Pro, iPad Air); I had read somewhere that it would be possible to keep that verizon email address. (Not to confuse matters, but verizon mail is now run by Aol.)

I use two email accounts from my Mail app on my iPhone (the other being gmail) and they work fine. The Verizon address is my primary. There are no sending problems from within Mail. So I assume there is a setting wrong in my outgoing verizon setup.

I tried changing my outgoing smtp settings to show "comcast" in place of the "verizon" but that did not help. It is possible I missed one or should have done it differently ....

Since I am not with Verizon anymore for internet service, I don't seem to have a way to contact them about this. By the way, I just learned that the same problem exists when trying to email a photo from within Photos app on my iPad.

Can anyone advise me on this? I really don't want to have to change to a different email address for my main account.

Thanks.
