I installed Football Manager a few weeks ago. Anyway, I moved it to the trash soon after.

Now, everytime I try to empty the trash I get about 30 messages telling me that various .xml files cannot be deleted as they are locked.

I am asked whether to Stop or Continue. Irrespective of what I press, my Trash doesn't seem to be being deleted.

Any ideas, cos this is starting to get on my tits!

Thanks for the replies. I ended up using this method...

...and it worked. Though I'm not sure why it worked!

Anyway, thanks.

It's just a key command to override the locked files. You could have accomplished the same thing (though it would be more difficult) by going to the files, getting info, and unlocking them. If they were in a folder together I think you could get them all done in one fell swoop, but I'm not certain about that.
