Can’t FaceTime my other device.

I can’t seem to FaceTime my phone to iPad or iPad to phone. I use to be able to do this but about a year ago was not able to. Am I doing something wrong or did apple stop allowing us to do this?

I don't remember ever being able to do this. I do sometimes FaceTime from my personal phone to my WORK computer, but they're not on the same Apple ID.

I was always able to do it. But I figured it out. The phone needs to be “reached at” by the number and the iPad needs to be “reached at” by the email. Then it will work
