cant find "Rotation inhibitor" in cydia

I cant seem to find the Rotation Inhibitor toggle for SBsettings. I have the iPhone 3GS which I jb'd with redsn0w. I looked under sbsettings "set toggle" and its not there. I even tried manually adding the source from ispazio but it still wont show up. Does anybody no what I'm doing wrong? Or is this setting not available for the 3GS?
 
When having SBSettings open, click on "More", then you should see the option "Rotation" and all you have to do is to activate it so that it will be seen on SBSettings screen. This should solve your issue. Maybe you can help me as well. I tried to add the source ispazio, but whatever URL I am using, the repository is not to be found. Which URL did you use to add ispazio source?
 
I can't find it either. I added it two weeks ago, but had to restore last week(My own fault there, ssh'ing too much :p ).
Now it's dissapeared. :confused:

I can't even find it on cydia. Can you look and see if you have the ispazio repo in your sources list. I don't have it so I'm assuming that why its not showing up in cydia.....that or rotation inhibitor isnt working on the 3GS

Yep, it's from ispazio, and I've got that as a source.
 
It seems to have been removed from Cydia in the last few days. Is there any way to find it independently and add to Cydia?

It's definitely there. I just redownloaded it to make sure.

I'm in the same boat. Rotation Inhibitor isn't available on my version of cydia (which I loaded yesterday). Neither is the ispazio source. Cydia balks at adding the ispazio repository with the message that "the indicated repository could not be found."

I checked today again and it's still not there. I guess your right zippy. It's not in this version of cydia which I installed a few days ago. We'll have to wait till a cydia update I'm assuming unless anyone knows how to get it back on there

After a few tries on Cydia, I spent a while searching the pipes for it... took a while, but here it is. Instructions are included, though you do need to get your hands a bit dirty at the command line.

I've got it running on my iPod Touch, OS 3.0. works like a charm.

Could I talk you into some Terminal help, please. Fourth step says:
"Copy the file you just downloaded to your iphone's /var/tmp folder."

How do I do that?

i found a solution. all i did was go into cydia, then i went to manage, then packages, then look for iSpazio, clicked modify then i clicked update. once the update is done then rotation inhibitor will be in the search. let me know if this worked out for you guys. im using a iphone 3g with 3.0 os
 
Got it!

I had to restore due to a persistent crash and was pretty lost without the Rotation Inhibitor. Took me a while to figure out why I couldn't find it on Cydia, but it turns out that it is indeed at the Ispazio repository, which I didn't not have on Cydia. There seem to be problems with various URLs for the repo, but I found that this one worked:

ispaziorepository.com

There were a couple error messages but it seemed to get added ok. A quick search for Rotation Inhibitor brought it up and I am now in business.
