I tried to run Catalina patch on my MBP 2010 high sierra, I installed it and stucked when power up the laptop, it just showed the logo for hours, didnt let me in. I tried to press Shift during power up and option command PR but it just showed me a No sign and automatically shut down the laptop.
Please help,

Did the power go off (eg: battery run out) during the install?

Either way, I would erase the flash drive with HFS+ and remake the patcher, then boot off it and erase the drive and reinstall.

Are you running the original hard drive or an SSD?

yes i have a m1 mac
- Plug the flash drive that you used to install the patcher into the M1 machine
- Open Disk Utility
- Erase the flash drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and GUID Partition Table
- Download the Catalina Patcher again from dosdude's website
- Install the Patcher onto the USB stick
- Plug the newly-remade installer into the 2010 and boot into it from the option menu
- Open Disk Utility from the Utilities menu and erase the SSD with APFS, GUID Partition Table
- Then install Catalina onto the SSD
