My old MBP crashed and I had to use a Mac air with a 128gb ssd. As I needed more space I opted for a 512 GB SD card (sands pro)
I have my LR catalog of 92GB on this card. It always worked perfect and was reasonably fast.
However about 4 days ago I could not open my LR catalog anymore as is said something like "Lightroom cannot open the catalog named “JUNE 2019 LR cat -2” located on volume “Second life” because Lightroom cannot save changes to this location." and something like ".disk .... read only"
I got the "info " tab and I have "read and write" permission. However if I want to give an admin (I have an admin acc) also permission to read and write it says I don't have permission to do so.
I can't delete this folder nor format the disk.
I tried disk utility as well and nothing.
What went wrong and how can I fix this?
I can't even update the LR folder as I still can't open the updated folder???
Two other folders on the card are fine and not effected.

The solution was quite simple. The little slider on the SD card was moved(damaged) and is now in the locked position.
Problem solved!
