Hi,

So, I understand this is a new feature with 2.0
For some reason, my 3G doesn't ask me whether I want to turn on location thing. The very first time I had clicked on the camera icon, it asked whether I wanted it on or not. At the very same time, I got a call, so I hit Cancel. That's the last time I've seen it ask if I wanted the location software on or off.

My brother has the previous gen upgraded to 2.0 and his asks it. I've tried to check the setting on my phone and I cannot find it anywhere :(

And under settings, i do have Location Services turned On.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Actually, I think I have the backwards scenario.
I clicked on "Cancel" once and never saw it asking again.

I have the same problem. Maps always asks if I want to use my location, Camera doesn't.

I've reset the warnings under Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Location Warnings. It will ask me the next couple times I use Camera, but then it stops. And if I have Location Services off, then open up Camera and snap a picture, Location Services remains off. So it looks like its not geotagging the photos.

This seems to have worked for me.
I hope it works for you as well

Go to Settings/General/Reset and swipe to the bottom of the screen - you will see the option to 'Reset Location Warnings' - one tap and you're done. I tried it and it does work - at least it asks if you want to turn on location next time you launch the camera app.
