It fails immediately after selecting the HD as the image, then selecting the destination folder, (HUGE) and pressing go.
Tried Toast Titanium, which won't let me select the Macintosh HD, only allows searching it for folders or another "image" Are there other image copy apps/programs, different versions I can try? Been trying for days!
I'm using A2Server on a 32GB SD card in a Pi2b, plenty of space on the SD card. I already backed up the application and system folders, but I just wanted an image of the entire HDD. Waiting on a PCMCIA CF adapter and CF card, wihich will hopefully do this, just wanted to know for future use cases.

How big is the HD? Some network servers have a file size limit.

Is the HD being used as the boot device? Maybe try booting from a different device?

What Power Mac are you using? Can you try from Mac OS X?
