Hello all!

I purchased my AirPods Pro on the great Black Friday sale for $169 and LOVE them. However, I hated the tips that they came with and replaced them with foam tips from Amazon. They've worked wonderfully until about 2 weeks ago. I was cleaning them off and noticed the white membrane on both tips had detached and actually fell out while I was cleaning them. I ordered new ones (the exact same) and put them on. Ever since, my right AirPod hasn't sounded right. It seems like it isn't correctly noise canceling anymore. There's minimal difference from transparency (which sounds more like noise cancellation) and noise cancellation (which is still letting sound through).

The right AirPod is also failing the seal test now and I can't get it to work with any tip of any size.

Any thoughts?

You, I, and millions of people are in the same boat. I have spent way too much time fiddling. I have bought 5 different sets of third party buds, which were ALL worse. I was able to get them to seal turning then upside down sticking up like Martian antennas, but did not have the courage to wear that in public.
I decided to stop worrying. The sound is better enough over other buds to use them as they are.
For a complete seal I have some wired Klipsch buds, which I can fit in upside down (same issue.) But the weird position is not noticeable.
