So I bought the OS X Mountain Lion update today, and have been trying all day to get it to download and I can't get past the point where it adds the greyed out Mountain Lion disc icon to the Launchpad screen with the words "waiting.." underneath.

Thus far I have tried leaving it for a few hours to see if anything happens, and nothing does, I have tried quiting the app store and restarting the computer, and I have also tried clearing the cache for the App Store and restarting the computer and nothing seems to get it to move past the Waiting.. phase.

I am running a Mac Mini (Late 2009) running Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).

Anybody else run into this? Or any suggestions about how to get around this problem?

Thanks!

I had the same problem as well. Thanks for the fix!
I had to cancel the download under the purchases tab in App store because resuming it didn't do anything, then the previous download I started magically came back
