I'm trying to set up a SSH for my Drupal site so I can start using Drush. However, I'm unable to get past this latest hurdle: entering the password for my private key. I was able to generate the key in the CPanel, then add it to my local user on the Mac, except when it prompts me for the pw, I'm stuck because I apparently can't enter anything into the password field. I had just set the chmod of this key file to 600, but I did not set anything for its parent folder. Is that a possible problem? Just a wild guess.

Any suggestions are welcome. Below is the screenshot of the key icon.

Thank you!!!

Nothing will be echoed to the screen when typing in that password. Just type it. Another option is to use the ssh-add command. If you use that you only have to type the password once per login.
