Can't get pasted Sim Screen?

Hello,

I don't have the original Sim for this iphone, and I do believe its been restored, as it will not let me past the No Sim card installed screen. Is there any around this? I wanted to JB and unlock it, but I can't even get to the springboard or have itunes recognize it.

iPhone 3G, 3.1.2 I believe.

My apologies, iPhone 3G, and I'm not exactly sure of the firmware as I cannot get pasted this screen. I believe its 3.1.

ok what i want you to do, is put it in either dfu mode, or recovery mode, search for a download of iphone 3g 3.1.2 firmware download, and in itunes, if your on a mac, hold option and select where you put the download. if your on windows, hold shift instead of option. then i want you to go to blackra1n.com, and click whichever logo you are, and then when you open it, click make it ra1n. blackra1n it supposed to activate the phone, then you can connect to wifi and download sn0w from the blackra1n icon.
