Ok so I can click on the X11.app and get into X11 looks like. But in thrashing around I went into fullscreen and now I can't get out. I restarted even. I can switch back to my usual Mac but everytime i start X11 it goes into full screen without menus.

Poking around a bit, I've copied /etc/X11/init/xinitrc into my home directory as .xinitrc, but I don't know how to change it. How do I get rid of the full screen.

Do I need rootless? Is that it?

I forget the magic keypress sometimes too.

To get out of full screen, press option-apple-A

You may then want to go into X11's Preferences, under the output tab, and turn off that pesky full-screen mode :D

Can't get shortcuts back

I managed to turn off the shortcuts in X11. Because X11 is in fullscreen mode I can't use the menu's or shortcuts. How can I get out of fullscreen mode without menu's or shortcuts? ;)
