I tried to install the GHCi (Glasgow Haskell Complier) on an M! Mac and it failed. Does anybody have it installed on an M1 Mac? How about Home Brew? There was a thread of native Apple Silicon and Rosette compatible software on here when the M1 Macs were launched but I can't fund it no matter how many times I search for M1 Apple Silicon software list etc link handy?

according to https://isapplesiliconready.com HomeBrew is. I tried to enter a request for GHCi status and it Wont recognise the Application (it's not a Mac App in the sense of a double-click the desktop icon app)

I think the thread that you saw a few months ago, was probably rolled into this thread -

I didn't find that anyone is working on a port of GHCI to the M1/ARM processor (Apple Silicone), so if you can't get it to run under Rosetta 2, then your best way forward would be to communicate directly with the developers for GHCi.
My only other suggestion is to get an intel Mac. You know that the GHCi will work on that.

THanks. I have it running on my intel MBP, but it's a heavy machine with about 30 minutes of battery run from fully charged… and plugged into my hub and monitors and stuff. Just want to get it going on the M1 too for around and about.
