Cant install iOS 5 on Verizon Iphone!

Guys, I'm having a weird problem...hopefully someone can help.

I have a Verizon Iphone and G4 MDD Mac.

I'm running Itunes 10.2 right now.

When I synced my iphone today, Itunes told me that IOS 5 was available. When I tell it to "Update", it tells me that I must download Itunes 10.5

When I try to get 10.5, the Software Updater tells me that "no new software is available for your PC"...when I 'm running 10.2!!! So...I cant d/l iOS 5.

Help!!

Any suggestions?

itunes.com and manually DL the new iTunes.
