I have an HP Photosmart 7960 printer which I can't install on parallels.

I have the install disk, and everything works fine, until the prompt to connect the USB to the PC and Printer.

For some reason, the "Next" button is not highlighted, so I can't select Next after I connect the USB to the Mac.

I clicked "continue without connecting" because I had no choice, but XP doesn't recognize the printer.

I can't believe it won't install!!

I need Windows for classes I am taking and because my wife needs Windows when she tele-works.

Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

Thanks in advance.

I've never tried to use a printer in Parallels but I suspect that there will be a trick to it. The one time I had to print, I exported out to TIFF then printed it from the Mac site. If you only need to do a couple of prints, that could be easier.

Oh yeah....read the manual!!

Thank you for the reply.

Right after I started this topic I ACTUALLY read the Parallels manual.

Apparently you have to have USB enabled to autoconnect.

After I did that, I had no problems.

Who would have thought....RTM!!
