Has anyone else gotten this error while trying to install Xcode? "The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in "Xcode 6.1" can't be read or written (Error code -36)?

I've tried from to install from Purchases page, it just installs to about 1GB, then starts back at 0.

Then I download from developer page, and it downloaded, but I got that error above.

Is there a way you can save the download to a thumb drive or direct to a disk?

I know it's a long shot, but could you be running out of disk space for the install? maybe if you run the OS from a small SSD or something and you're running out of space.

Is there any install options like leaving the documentation online only?

Just guessing, I haven't installed it yet.

Thanks for the reply's.

I just took the external drive that I have Yosemite on. Went to my son's Mac Pro, logged in to my app store acct, and it loaded.

Thanks again.:D
