I set up a trial membership of mobile me earlier today and everything went fine. I synced everything to the mobile me server and set up my iPhone. Now, when I try to log in to me.com it says invalid username or password. I know for sure that I'm entering the right username and password(its the same as the mobileme system prefs info, right?) but it's not letting me in. Any ideas?
 
I'm in the same boat. I signed up for a trial on Thur. night or Friday. I've been able to sync, no problem. Mail wasn't able to log in successfully till this morning. But I've not been able to log in at all to www.me.com. My guess is that signing up right as they were transitioning and all that wasn't the best timing for me. Their sync servers and such probably have my account info, but their web authentication servers don't just because of all the initial bumps we've been hearing about.

I sent off an email to the MobileMe support and hopefully will hear back by tomorrow. (they said within 48 hours).

I'll try and post a reply once I hear anything.
 
Yeah man same problem here... can get into system preferences but not online. Plus i can only reset my apple id password.
 
I'm having the same problem. All set up, but can't log on. I'll give it a couple days.
 
jaw3net is right. I used the 'forgot my password' link and was able to do it. It took me two times though. The second time worked, possibly because I used a different password than what it was originally. So anyone that has this issue try that, but don't forget to use the full username@me.com as the AppleID instead of just username. And try actually changing the password to a different password.
