How do I move music from iTunes 12.4 on my Mac to my iPhone? I'm an Apple music subscriber. With my phone connected to my Mac, when I attempt to drag music onto the phone I get this error message: "Some of the files were not copied to the iPhone because iCloud Music Library is enabled on the device." When I turn this setting off on the phone I lose a lot of music and still can't move Music from iTunes onto my phone.

Syncing music from iTunes to your iPhone requires iCloud music library on the iPhone tuned off, case closed.

When iCloud music library is enabled, then any music you wish to store on the iPhone has to be streamed or downloaded from cloud

I never really drag music to the iPhone, I click on my iPhone in itunes and click on music and then click the boxes to what kind of music I want to put on it and then click sync

If you still see an error in iTunes with iCloud music library turned off, maybe theres a dialog box you can expand it will give you the reason why these things wont sync, like for example, the songs are listed in your library but the files themselves cannot be located, another reason is the songs are in your library, the files can be located, but the songs were purchased using someone else's apple id?
