Hi, my friend bought a Rebel XT, and took some pictures in RAW format, which is coming up .CR2. However, his CS2 on his PC and my CS2 on my Powerbook won't recognize it. Any ideas?

Each camera company's raw format is a bit different. The camera should have come with a disc with some software on it that would allow you to open the pictures. If you're hoping to open them in Photoshop or Bridge, then you'd likely need a plugin. I'd check the camera manufacturer's website to see if there is a plugin that you would need to install.

That was the problem exactly...thanks! I didn't think I would have to install new plug-ins, as CS2 was new, but, the XT is newer. Thanks!
