I am having a weird problem on iOS 10 on my new iPhone 7 Plus. Almost always I can't paste into a text field (email, address bar in safari, text message) if there is nothing typed already. If I tap and hold to paste I get no pop up menu with paste etc. but if I type even one letter and then tap and hold after the character it works. Pasting pictures, text anything. Restarting doesn't fix it. I restored from a backup of iOS10 on my iPhone 6 Plus and never had this issue there. Thoughts? Thanks so much!

From what I recall that kind of thing happens to people in body of an email, but not really any of the other places that were mentioned.

In case of email it seems like a bug/glitch or some sort.

The alternative method of double tapping to bring up the paste menu is something that should still work.

I've seen it as well and have been using the alternate method of double-tapping.

I've had this same issue, but oddly it seems to happen more on my iPad (Pro, 9.7"). Maybe I just end up doing more copy & pasting on it than I do on my phone.
