I have just matched 28,000 songs in iTunes Match, the files are hosted on my Windows PC in iTunes and iTunes Match did its thing. Now when I try to access the songs in the cloud in the Apple Music app on my MacBook, I can see the files there but they are greyed out and I'm unable to play them. All 28,000 songs are exactly the same, unplayable. I wish I had more information to give but I have no idea why this is happening. Any ideas?

Hi. Silly question: Have you authorised the Macbook to access Apple Music? I forgot to do this when I got my M1 and had a similar problem. (Apple Music, Account, Authorisations)

I just reauthorised the macbook to make sure it was authorised. I also went into the music app settings and made sure Music>Settings>Library: Sync Library was selected. It should be working but still isn't.
