Hi, I'm having trouble printing onto a cd/dvd with my canon ip4000. It worked fine on my pc but since switching to the mac (leopard) I keep getting a message saying that the paper settings are incorrect even though I have selected cd tray in the options menu. Is anyone able to help me?

I'm probably not going to be much help as my ip4200 is attached to my windows box (and I do all disk printing from the windows side) but all I can think is have you installed the driver from canon as opposed to using the one in leopard as that might work better.

Have you got the right tray option? I think it's something like 'Tray B'.

What program are you printing from?

I have an iP3000, but haven't printed CDs on my Mac either yet. I'll have a look later.

Yes, tray "B" is selected. The program I'm using is CD label print which came with the printer.

Hi there,

I have been having exactly the same problem with my Canon ip400 printer when printing onto cd/dvd, i am starting to wonder whether it may be the program which went with the printer.

Could there be a fault with the program??????

Does anyone have any ideas??????
