So shortly after I downloaded ios 10, I proceeded to delete most of the stock apps, including Apple News.
Now I've decided I want to have it as part of my widgets screen and when I went to redownload it, it didn't even show up. The other apps like Stocks and Weather appear when I search for them, but the News app does not. This is on an iPhone 6.

Is anyone else having this issue?

It's showing up for me. I'm in the uk so it might be a country problem.

Try going to a feed directly as it will ask you open it in the News app.

This link triggers the News app download prompt on my phone so it should do it for your one too.

I have the same issue. I tried to trigger the re-install as nightstalkerz suggested, no dice.

Thanks, but no luck. It tries to open the link in my podcast app and when I deleted that, it defaulted to asking to open in Feedly. Luckily I'm within walking to distance to an Apple Store so that's what I'll do.

So it turns out I had Restrictions enabled and Apple News was turned off. Once it was disabled, the app reappeared on my phone.
