Can't remove ram from iMac

I watched youtube video and you are supposed to pull the tabs. I pull but it won't come out. Anyone have a video to show what to do when the tabs won't work, or instructions how to get the ram out? thanks

just pull harder. Use a towel you might not have a good grip.

Do NOT use pliers, you will damage the RAM and void the warranty

Use a bigger hammer - seriously take it to someone or practice on a bad board before you cripple your $ +1000.00 rig

I gave up. I had to boot the iMac for the first time. It's nice, I got the system earlier this week but had to wait till I finished both of my finals today. I wanted to install the 4gb but can't now. I don't know what to do.I put the tabs toward me, I jerk it left and right. It doesn't budge.

They are pretty stiff. Dry your hands. Get a good grip and pull straight, not up or down and not side to side.

good news, after about an hour of pulling, it finally came out.
