When I click into that person, there is no option to ‘Remove’ them
When you click the name it should bring up a tab showing "Contact" on the left and "Directions" on the right. Take your finger and drag that up till it takes up almost the whole screen of your phone. Then at the bottom you should see "Remove ____"

At least this is how it looks on my 14 PM on iOS 16.5

Thanks, I have that for all people in my family and then for someone outside of my family, the ‘Remove’ option isn’t there

That sucks! I was hoping it would be something simple like that because something similar happened to me and it was just me not scrolling down enough to see what I needed to.

I only have one person on my Find My and they are not in my family as in I don't have them on family sharing for my Apple ID. I don't even see a way to add anyone. Maybe they have to share their location with me first? I would stop by the Apple store and see if they can figure it out. That is if there's one close to you
