About a year ago I decided to throw on a sticker on my mbp. A year later when im trying to sell my laptop, it seem to have stained the aluminum. It looks like the ink got baked into the metal. Ive tried isopropyl 70%, hand sanitizer, soup/water, and none of them worked.

Any recommendations

Although you'll want to try on an inconspicuous spot first. I use Goo Gone on really stubborn marks. If that doesn't work try stepping up to Goof Off. Taking the same precautions.

The Goo Gone has worked well for old bad marks on beige Mac cases. Both plastic and painted metal. I haven't had to resort to Goof Off. I haven't tried on an aluminum finish.
